Sauna Safety

To gain the maximum benefits from sauna you need to take some precautionary measures that could trigger any problem. Up till now no such problems have been encountered by the users but prevention is always better than cure.

Nothing should be consumed before or during sauna sessions.

Sauna is strictly not meant for children below 16, pregnant women, elderly people, people suffering from pneumonia and other respiratory diseases

Those with an injury or feel feverish should not go for sauna

No alcohol before and after sauna. Those on Anticholinergics and other medicines should not step into sauna as they impair sweating and produce overheating.

Do not exceed the time to more than 15 to 20 minutes, cool down the body gradually, avoid cold plunge as it produces considerable circulatory stress.

Drink two to four glass of water after sauna to compensate the water loss due to perspiration

Stay away from the steam head as it may cause burn injuries.

If you allergic to essential oils do not use them in sauna, don’t commit the mistake of filling the oil reservoir when steam unit is operational as this can cause serious injuries.
